Any person who wishes to become a Player of Nomicron may contact the Administrator with a statement of intent to join Nomicron. No person may do this more than once during any round. The Administrator shall announce the player to the Public Forum, and the player shall have Neophyte status.
A Neophyte is not an active player, but may participate in public debate and post draft proposals. A Neophyte may become an active player by posting a Request to Activate to the Public Forum. The Request should include an introduction with such information as location, prior nomic experience, etc.
The Neophyte's status shall become active at the beginning of the Turn following their Request to Activate. If an active player objects to the player becoming active, they may notify the Public Forum within one week of the Request to Activate. If at least 2/3 of all active players object to the player becoming active, the player shall revert to Neophyte status. If a Neophyte is rejected active status three times, they become a non-player.
